Account & Data Deletion Policy – Kedia Advisory

This page explains how users of the Kedia Advisory Mobile Application can request deletion of their account and associated personal data.

Data Collected at Account Creation

When you create an account, we collect the following information:

  • Full Name
  • Mobile Number
  • Email Address
  • Current City
  • System-generated User ID
  • Encrypted login credentials

For KYC and regulatory compliance, we also collect:

  • PAN Card Number
  • Aadhaar Number (partially masked and securely stored)

We do not collect: location data, contacts, call logs, SMS, photos, media files, passwords of financial accounts, or browsing behavior.

Data Security

  • All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS / TLS)
  • Sensitive identifiers (Aadhaar/PAN) are stored securely & masked
  • Access is strictly restricted

Account & Data Deletion Policy

1. Users Eligible for Permanent Data Deletion

Users who have NOT made any financial transactions through the application can request:

  • Permanent deletion of their account
  • Permanent deletion of all associated personal data

After deletion:

  • Account will be deactivated permanently
  • Data is irreversibly deleted
  • Deleted data cannot be restored

2. Users Who Have Completed Financial Transactions

If the user has conducted any financial / subscription / monetary transaction, permanent deletion of records is NOT permitted due to:

  • SEBI regulatory requirements
  • Financial compliance and audit obligations

In such cases:

  • Account can be deactivated
  • Certain records MUST be retained as per law
  • Minimum legally required records remain securely stored
  • Retained records are not used for marketing or profiling
  • Where possible, retained data may be anonymized after compliance period

Retention is for as long as legally required under applicable Indian financial and regulatory laws.

Deletion & Processing Timeline

  • Verification begins immediately upon receiving a valid deletion request
  • Deletion completion: 7 to 30 days
  • Users are notified once deletion is completed

Include:

  • Registered Name
  • Registered Mobile Number
  • Registered Email ID

This information is used only for verification purposes.

Assurance

  • Deleted data cannot be restored
  • No data is sold or shared for advertising
  • User rights and privacy are respected
